Jilbee is a fast moving, rapidly growing, profitable start-up headquartered in Luxembourg. We bring the financial benefits of eLearning solutions to industries and markets which have never experienced it. We have operations in Luxembourg, the Netherlands and in Germany. We are now looking for highly driven individuals with a broad mix of skills and competencies to expand our sales activities in the Netherlands.

To be an ideal candidate for the job:

Most of all, you will be a hunter and a cold caller. We are looking for someone with the ability to pick up the phone, make a cold call and get a meeting with the decision maker. The ideal candidate will already be doing such cold calling in his/her current position.
You need to be someone who is ultra-competitive and who hates to lose. At the same time you will have the diplomatic touch and communication skills to build the Jilbee brand in the Netherlands and to build long lasting relationships with our clients.
You will need to have complete comfort of all parts of the sales process: prospecting, evaluating leads, cold calling, making proposals, negotiating, closing deals and collecting.
You will have experience selling a C-level and have the experience of interacting on a peer-to-peer level with CxOs and senior management.
You must have experience closing complex B2B deals involving multiple stakeholders.
If you have a background in media or software or IT, this would be a big plus.
If you have experience selling to Human Resource or Marketing departments, this would be a very big plus as well.
In our business we take the benefits of eLearning to customers who may have never known them before. Consequently, you will be able to understand when to evangelize, when to concept sell and when to product sell.
In terms of languages, we are looking for a native Dutch speaker. Fluent communication ability in English is a must – including being able to present, debate and negotiate in English.

Job responsibilities:

Your first and foremost responsibility will be to cold call and get meetings with decision makers. This is the most important skill we are looking for.
But you will also have responsibilities across the entire spectrum of commercial activities – from prospecting and lead generation (from a company database) to cold calling, articulating our value proposition, building proposals, negotiating, closing and collecting. In this respect, you will work closely with Jilbee’s founder & CEO on a daily basis.
You will also be responsible for ensuring client satisfaction during the project execution phase. For this you will also work closely with Jilbee’s Director of Products & Operations whose team will execute your clients’ projects.
You will have well defined sales and margin targets. You will have well defined marketing objectives.
You will manage all customer contacts for your territory in the CRM tool which you shall keep up to date at all times.

Experience, Compensation and Location:

You need to have proven hunting experience in complex B2B setting involving multiple stakeholders and decision makers. We will ask for references.
Salary will be industry competitive with very generous bonuses linked to high performance. Plus company car, phone and laptop, etc.

Jilbee is a company active in producing eLearning materials for the industry. Our customers are banks, government organizations, public sector and industry. The content is extremely diverse and we use techniques of animation, filming, screen recording, etc... in order to explain technical matters, create awareness or simply replacing manuals or lengthy and expensive trainings that are no longer adapted.

We work almost exclusively with Freelance for the production of our content. With the company expanding its business we are in demand of people able to deploy their animation skills and creativity to create user-friendly, clear and entertaining content.
Being able to have a detailed technical conversation in English is mandatory. Understanding French / German / Dutch are determining assets. Doing the work out of Luxembourg is not mandatory but a certain amount of travelling to Luxembourg for coordination with the team is a necessity.

The ideal candidate would:

Have a strong sense of creativity and empathy and curiosity.

Master Adobe After Effects (CS5.5).
Have a good knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro (CS5.5) or Final Cut Pro,
Be fluent in English. Understanding either French and/or German and/or Dutch is an asset. Work experience in an international team is a plus.
Have hands-on experience on animation projects, preferably different styles. Projects developed at school, as an intern or on free time are welcome. Talent is valued as much as experience is.
Demonstrate design skills and a good sense for choosing colours. Mastering only motion, modelling or design is not sufficient; you need to be able to apply lighting and colouring as well.
Have a sense of the rhythm and be able to time animations on a rhythm, voice or music.
Have a pragmatic approach to storyboarding, being able to draw and communicate actions, movements, transitions, etc through the use of hand-written storyboards.
Have an experience in animation in other areas than cartoons or video clips.
Work as a Freelance on a project basis (no CDI/CDD, no companies), and be based within driving distance of Köln (DE), Delft (NL) or Luxembourg (LU).

With Jilbee expanding its business we are in demand of people able to analyse technical documents received by our customers with some level of explanation and that are able to produce scripts and propose stories in order to produce innovative and exciting content for the targeted public (employees, workers in very rare cases students).

Being able to read and write in English is mandatory. Understanding either French and/or German and/or Dutch is an asset. Doing the work out of Luxembourg is not mandatory but a certain amount of travelling to Luxembourg for coordination with the team is a necessity.

Have hands-on experience on eLearning, preferably in environments where eLearning is not used for schools for students. Feel comfortable writing and expressing ideas from domains like technology, engineering, business, IT, education, Finance, Health…
Have good exposure to storyboarding.

We work almost exclusively with freelance experts for the production of our content. With the company expanding its business we are in demand of people able to manage our eLearning projects and programs and to manage the animation skills and creativity needed to create user-friendly, clear and entertaining educational content. We are also looking for someone who has experience designing web based software. This skill is needed for the creation of our eLearning platform and products for internal production use. Being able to have a detailed technical conversation in English is mandatory. Understanding French / German / Dutch are determining assets. The job is based in Luxembourg. The job may involve travel within Europe and regular customer interaction.

To be an ideal candidate you would have:

Extensive experience with project management of eLearning Content projects using the latest animation and video techniques.
Experience with the coordination with globally distributed subcontractors.
Be highly skilled in Adobe Premiere Pro (CS5.5) or Final Cut Pro. Knowledge of Adobe After Effects will be a plus.
Proven experience of at least two years with Camtasia Studio (this is needed to work on projects where clients demand the use of Camtasia Studio).
Strong design skills and strong sense of color.
Good working knowledge of different video formats, codecs, audio formats and compression techniques.
Strong experience in designing attractive web sites and complex online products.
A good understanding of CSS, XML and Flash.
An ability to create animations using Flash.
Have experience in animation in areas such as illustration of intangible concepts or working of physical products.
Having experience with FireBug and MySQL is a plus. Being able to test and debug a LAMP website would be a nice to have.
Total written and spoken fluency in English is a must. Understanding of either French and/or German and/or Dutch will be an asset.
Work experience in an international and geographically distributed team is a must.
Experience working with people from different countries and cultures will be beneficial.
Experience with the sales process of eLearning Content projects will be a plus as the job will involve providing pre-sales support to our sales team.
Hands-on experience on animation projects, preferably with different visual styles.
